Wood sticks contain fibreglass reinforcement, are strong and light for the indoor game. Composite sticks have a mix of carbon, Kevlar and fibreglass construction. They are for the skilled player and offer more speed on passes and shots. Receiving the ball with a composite stick is harder to control.
